ADULT CLASSES

Monday and Tuesday beginner and intermediate adult private / semi private classes - starts January 5 10am - 4pm

Foundation drawing classes focus on the basics of composition, color and value. The painting curriculum varies, but we explore many techniques and subjects. Private lessons are $35 for 1 1/2 hour class. Semi private lessons (2 students) are $30 for 1 1/2 hour class. Materials are supplied.

YOUTH CLASSES

6 week session on Tuesdays ages 8 - 14 4:00 - 5:15 $120

I like to expose young minds and hands to a variety of materials and techniques, and teach them art is their own personal self expression. Foundation classes include drawing from life, color studies, painting, pastels, and collage. All materials are supplied.

FALL SESSION • WEARABLE ART

Working outside on the art deck, we'll be doing some messy projects that up cycle clothes and accessories. I taught this class at the Warwick Museum of Art this summer and have some new techniques and projects. Students bring their old jeans, shoes, and tee shirt, all other materials supplied.

We'll revisit some of the basics of observational drawing to begin. New this session is watercolors focusing on techniques to create a nature inspired painting. Other paintings themes will be explored using acrylic paints and pastels.
